Overview:

As part of our team, you will ensure the steady supply of our product to companies and marine industry such as:

DISNEY CRUISES, NCL, RCCL, Carnival Corporation, COSTA National Geographic, and other explorer companies AND SOUTHERN WATER.

The goal is to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience with Global logistics, moving stock accessories to multiple depots clients in the right way in the right time at the right price, involving major multinational clients in the Shipping and Hotel Sectors.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • To coordinate and communicate with colleague to ensure that customer requirements are met within the required timescales.
  • Follow up on failed collections and maintain appropriate spreadsheets within the department to ensure necessary action is taken to predetermined timescales.
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and efficient manner by phone and email as appropriate and to identify and resolve all customer issues, delivering outstanding customer service
  • Assist the Department in developing cross team co-operation and liaison with all departments.
  • Placing orders for product and/or accessories to a supplier across different time zones and manufacturing bases
  • Negotiate freight costs to achieve the best possible prices and delivery times.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, consolidators, warehouses, and customers to ensure all orders are delivered promptly.
  • Liaise with management on warehouse stock holding, resolving stock discrepancies / situations where First in First Out (FIFO) is not in operation or not being used efficiently. 
  • Liaising and working together with our Monaco and Miami offices.
  • Maintain awareness of and comply with the Company Quality Policy and applicable Company Procedures.
  • Notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.

Working knowledge of SAGE would be an advantage but full training will be given.

  • To undertake any ad hoc tasks that may be necessary as specified by the Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service.
