Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing environmentally friendly company to provide logistics support to all customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to fulfil the customer’s contractual requirements. Investigate and resolve logistics queries, alerting the Executive Account Managers of any potential problems or customer dissatisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the planning, delivery and dispatch of orders.
  • Process quotations, orders and general enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate freight costs to achieve best possible prices and delivery times.
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, consolidators, warehouses and customers to ensure all orders are delivered promptly.
  • Responsible for collecting signed delivery documents.
  • Developing good relationships with our customers.
  • Identify and resolve issues from start to finish, ensuring customers are updated at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels within the warehouses with regular stock checks and raising the necessary orders to replenish stock by Ocean freight service FCL/LCL.
  • Planning for stock delivery to ensure customer supply.
  • Assisting other internal departments as and when required.
  • Liaising and working together with our Monaco and Miami offices.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • To be able to provide consistent high levels of accuracy, demonstrating an understanding of attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge of the cruise industry/ yacht industry.
  • Manage workload effectively.
  • Must have a proactive approach with the capability to spot opportunities to improve new ways of working.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous logistics & freight forwarding experience.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Sage 200 or Sage 50, this is desirable but not essential.
