To support the CEO / Owner in giving sound technical and operational information, product use,  systems,  implementation,  planning, product use, technical training, support, guidance and quotes to a substantial group of international Corporate Clients.  Such as Maersk, RCCL, NCL, AIDA, COSTA, DISNEY, GSF, SBM, etc.

To find,  inspire and  train  a team of engineers  to support our client’s global needs.  To liaise with, implement,  install Hepburn Systems wherever required.   Our systems will help  to dramatically reduce the discharge of toxic chemicals, sludge solids, grease and fat  into our oceans, our air,  ourselves and guests,  in both the land based and marine industry,  protecting our planet, ourselves and our children’s future. 

The company 

Hepburn Bio Care is an international company with its representative office based in Southampton and is a world leader in producing the only full range of certified biodegradable, environmentally friendly  cleaning and waste water solutions for marine and land-based industries.  Ranging from wastewater treatment to interior/exterior cleaning, laundry, galley and COVID sanitising.   This does also include the “hardware” to support the product use in the correct dilution..   You may be asked to help out with other system designs and installations, it is after all a team effort.

We  also design and produce the only modular, clip on system designed to fit into any marine vessel, end resort hotels, off shore rigs, Flotels etc. to biodegrade all sludge and waste stream solids from galley grey to black water, eliminating all discharge of solids.   Hepburn Bio Mass System

For the moment Hepburn works primarily in the marine industry,  but we are also expanding into the hospitality industry supplying products to the hospitality industry reducing toxic discharge into our oceans and air. All products are designed to improve operational performance particularly in the area of cleaning, sanitising, health, safety and discharges into our environment. We eliminate the use of toxic cleaning chemicals by formulating and manufacturing a full range of eco-friendly products to keep all surfaces clean and sanitised (to virus kill including COVID 19) while reducing all waste streams naturally. Our highly concentrated products reduce the carbon footprint,  plastic wastage and toxics into our air and waste streams by about 70% against all leading competitors.

The role

This particular role within our Hepburn Bio Care team will involve overseeing all areas of the technical side of business development, client liaison, team leading, team performance, managing and inspiring all on board vessel and land based  training and installations, aimed at coming in on budget with a happy team and a satisfied client.

An engineering background is required with an ability to innovate, inspire and think on your feet.  Flexible and a desire to change things would help.

The person required should have:
Strong math and problem-solving skills. You also need experience with computers, especially with EXCEL. You should also, be prepared to travel and be hands on in installations, part of a team and be able to communicate effectively , logically and clearly when giving instructions.

  • Support projects from the design stage, through manufacture, installation, implementation and beyond. 
  • Good EXCEL skills, costing, cost analysis, stock accessories control, technical support documents
  • Hands on Engineering as well as office-based design and planning 
  • Technical liaison between existing clients and representative engineers.
  • Ensure project installation conforms to all regulations
  • Proactively monitor product performance, consumption and client relations
  • Experience in Marine Engineering, sea time is preferable  
  • Hands on workshop experience and skills essential. 
  • Fluent English with other language skills beneficial 
  • Computer literate, EXCEL 
  • Experienced report writer good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Flexible with travel worldwide
